A theatrical production, this desk fulfills many roles.  The cylindrical column contains sycamore drawers behind a tambour door and pivoted shallow trays for current affairs.  Each of the two legs supports additional storage.  The telephone shelf pivots to leave a clear surface for laying out plans.
