All John's work begins with a bespoke commission designed specifically for the individual clients needs. John enjoys meeting prospective clients and discussing their thoughts about the project they have in mind, whether that be in the comfort of their own home or at the studio in rural Dorset.

The commissioning process has five distinct stages:
-
Detailed discussion to establish the client's requirements, an indicative budget and timescale.
-
A letter from John Makepeace will confirm the above to include:
- a summary of the client's brief
- the proposed budget, including stage payments.
- the anticipated timescale -
The preparation, presentation and approval of the design proposals.
-
The making. Following receipt of a deposit, regular photography will record work in progress.
-
Delivery and installation.
So we invite you to start your journey towards owning a masterpiece. If you have a particular idea in mind and would like to discuss a possible commission, please don't hesitate to get in touch and John will enjoy helping you bring your ideas to life!
